Somewhere in Accra – EP 06

Capitol is a cafe and restaurant found in Labone, on the same road as AU village and Pinkberry. A few months ago, when it first came opened, I had seen a lot of Instagram posts about this place and decided to check it out.

Found on the ground floor of an apartment complex, the restaurant is adjacent a shopping center. One striking feature of the entire structure is the wooden designs that form series of arcs at the entrance of the building. As soon as you enter, you are transported into an ultramodern restaurant and cafe. The architecture and general layout of Capitol is a modern diner setup with a mix of shapes and different textures. This is the kind of restaurant that has different moods and vibes depending on where you sit. So for all my people who find a place they love and don’t want to go anywhere else (eg me), you can rotate where you sit every visit and it’ll feel like a new experience every time.

Pleasant waitresses and hosts always bring life to a place and make the food taste even better. With an extensive food and drink menu for diverse lifestyle choices, I’ll recommend this as a perfect venue for either a lunch date or an evening out with family and/or friends. The food portions are however small, so you’d have to order wisely lol. I particularly loved the cheesecake but I found the mocktails too sweet.
