Attention: Intentions 2018!

After weeks and days of brainstorming , I’ve finally found an intention for this year. Explore

Intentions are themes that guide and shape the opportunities you make or take during that period.

If you follow me on Instagram and Twitter then you might have gotten a hint that I love to travel, being in nature and experiencing new things. That’s when I feel most comfortable and at peace. It’s my hope that i travel more this year, exploring Ghana and Africa mostly (check @sun_diataa on Twitter, to see my 2018 travel goals).

Another interest I want to explore this year is……Dance! I remember crying in Primary/Grade 5 because I had to dance in front of the whole class. Over the years I’ve come to appreciate the liberating feeling moving your body gives. I haven’t yet decided which type of dance class I’d like to join but I’d definitely let you know.

Reading has always been a big part of my life growing up. Since then, it has been my break from reality and has helped build my imagination. It started with the small African novels (my dad used to buy me those often as a child) and has now developed into an interest in Psychological, Entrepreneurial , Self Developmental books including miscellaneous materials I find interesting. I’ve collected a few e books from my Twitter followers I’m starting with, hoping to complete a book a month. Apart from reading, I’d like to develop my creative skills. I chanced upon an online tutoring platform, through a podcast I follow, in developing creative skills called Skillshare, check it out!

Do you have any intention for this year? If yes you can share in the comments below and if you haven’t yet, we’re just about ending the first month so you’re not late.

Cheers,

Sundiata

  1. My intention for my 25th year and 2018 is being comfortable with the uncomfortable. Like you I’m reading more than I did last year, I’m currently on my 3rd book (Aleph by Paulo Coelho), draw more (I do fashion illustrations) and move out of Accra more ( I have two planned trips outside Accra). I love your blog anyway. Keep on shining!🎈
